The Ogallala Octopi picked up a win at Nebraska Aquarium, knocking off the Ballard Beavers, 5-4. Starting pitcher Juan Rayo was an essential part of his team's success. Ogallala reliever Jesús Pérez picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Cam Butler shouldered the loss. The 6th-place Octopi have won 4 straight games.

Alfredo Bermúdes was the walk-off hero for Ogallala. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Octopi catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Another day, another win. On to the next one," Bermúdes told the Ogallala Daily News.
