Soto Hits 2 home runs in Bullets Win
Fernando Soto drove in 4 runs to help Baltimore defeat Buffalo, 9-3. The right fielder had 1 double and 2 home runs for the Bullets. Robert Smalls, who went 5 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 1 run on 6 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 1. His record now stands at 1-2. Govaart van Ankeren got credit for the save for Baltimore. It was his 1st of the year.

The two teams provided some entertaining baseball for the Baltimore Grounds crowd. Regardless of the outcome, a good time was had by all.

"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Baltimore manager Brandon Slouck.

Baltimore is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 5th in 16 games.
