Beavers Win Again, Extend Streak to 6
|
Northwest Territory Beavers starter Archie MacMurchy pitched a strong game against the Surprise Shockers at Shockers Field, leading the Beavers to a 4-2 win. MacMurchy got the win, improving to 6-4. He allowed 2 hits and walked 3 over 5.2 innings. MacMurchy allowed 1 earned run. The save went to Hai-liang Che, his 14th this season.
Tsu-wee Tsou hit a run-scoring double off Scott Powell in the top of the first, which put the Beavers in front, 1-0. In addition to the double, Tsou had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 3.
