The Ogallala Octopi eked out a 8-7 win versus the Flint Crush at Flint Park. Nobody did more than right fielder Gianni Schaar, who captured player of the game honors. Ogallala is now 25-28, Flint 27-26.

Ogallala took the lead in the top of the sixth. With two out and the bases loaded, António Dueñas stroked a 2-run single to make it 5-3, Octopi.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Schaar told the Ogallala Daily News.
