Crush Squelch Octopi Offense in Shutout Win
The Flint Crush defeated the Ogallala Octopi, 5-0, in M3L Rookie action at Flint Park, with Flint pitcher Paul Allen named player of the game. The 5th-place Crush improved to 27-25.

Piedade Regueir had a big bases-clearing triple for the Crush in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Flint leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Michael Kilshaw and stroked the triple to right. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Crush ahead, 4-0.

Regueir called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
