Flint and Bompton duked it out at Field of the Browns and the Crush came out victorious.

Flint Crush starter Shuji Kokawa pitched a strong game against the Bompton Baby Lakers at Field of the Browns, leading the Crush to a 6-4 win. Flint is 6th in the Menard's R with a record of 25-24.

It could have been a different outcome for Flint, had it not been for Bindu Mongia, the 21-year old third baseman . Mongia contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to put Flint up, 4-2.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Mongia told the Flint Observer. "It's as simple as that."
