Puffer Fish Topple Tigers as Wright Shines
With designated hitter Stone Wright leading the charge, the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish defeated the Twinsburg Tigers, 6-2, at Plattsburgh Park. Wright went 3 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Don Lucas got the win, improving to 4-3. He worked 7 innings, giving up 2 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 9 and walking 2. The Puffer Fish now have a record of 47-45 with the win over Twinsburg.

The Puffer Fish got a big at-bat from right fielder Jay Harris. For the game, Harris was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 times. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 93rd hit of the season gave Plattsburgh a 3-2 lead.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Harris said.
