The Franklin Fire beat the Flint Crush, 11-4, at Lawmen Ballpark. The Fire got a fine performance from shortstop Ji-hoon Ku, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2 for 5 with a home run, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Gerald Cain picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-1. Manny Martínez was tagged with the loss. With the loss, Flint is 9-9.

Franklin took control in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, Will Blalock hit a 2-run single to make it 6-4, Fire.
