Earning player of the game honors was first baseman Charles MacMurdo, who was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Plattsburgh reliever Alan Gilbert got the win, raising his record to 3-1. Norman Davis was tagged with the loss. Juan González picked up the save for Plattsburgh, his 7th of the year.

MacMurdo had a consequential at-bat in the top of the third for the Puffer Fish. Coming up with a runner on 2nd and Plattsburgh trailing 3-2, he hit a 2-run home run.
