Fire Fall Short, 1-0, at Athletic Club KC
|
Athletic Club KC starter Rostislav Kwasnicki had a strong outing against the Franklin Fire at Ballpark of Elkhorn City. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 1-0 win. The U-21, now 7-3, have played some good baseball in the early going.
Tomás Torbado aided the Athletic Club KC cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the first. For the game, the first baseman went 1 for 3 with a double.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Kwasnicki said after the game.
