The Quebec City Baby Blues scored a 5-4 win versus the Crowley Cajuns at Dylan Park. Quebec City pitcher Liu-liang Lei nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Bill Lawrence notched his 18th save in 24 chances. Quebec City is now 35-38, while Crowley is 41-32.
The Baby Blues got a big at-bat from third baseman Edgar Tamayo. For the game, Tamayo was 1-3 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 3rd double of the season gave Quebec City a 4-3 lead.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Crowley manager Tim Norris said following the tough loss.
