Snowpeople Get One-Run Win at Capital Hill
Ellesmere Island Snowpeople starter Dennis Heath pitched a strong game against the Capital Hill Interns at Alouettes Ballpark, leading the Snowpeople to a 6-5 win. The last-place Snowpeople raised their record to 19-39.

Ellesmere Island used the clutch hitting of Marvin Moore to capture the win. The third baseman drilled a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to give the Snowpeople the lead, 2-0. For the game, Moore had 2 singles and 1 double in 5 at-bats.
