The Quebec City Baby Blues topped the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople, 4-3, in USSL Rookie action at Dylan Park. The player of the game was Quebec City pitcher Liu-liang Lei. The win puts the Baby Blues at 22-26, while the Snowpeople drop to 13-35.

Matsusuke Saikawa was the walk-off hero for Quebec City. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Baby Blues first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Quebec City skipper Seth Rice. "I can't complain."
