Interns Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
The Capital Hill Interns topped the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish, 5-3, in USSL Rookie action at Alouettes Ballpark. The player of the game was Capital Hill pitcher and Jobabo, Cuba native Pedro Garza. The Interns keep rolling, raising their record to 12-5.

The Puffer Fish had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Interns going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 19-year old first baseman Dennis Moore came to the plate. Moore hit a run-scoring triple on a 1-1 cutter from Plattsburgh hurler John Robertson. It was Moore's 1st triple of the year.

"I found a nice groove out there," said Garza.
