Cajuns Best Baby Blues in Pitching Duel
|
The Quebec City Baby Blues wasted an impressive 6.2-inning effort from starter George Butler, falling 1-0 to the Crowley Cajuns at Dylan Park. The Baby Blues fall to 6-10 and continue their lackluster start to the 2043 season.
It could have been a different outcome for Crowley, had it not been for Robert Howard, the 18-year old third baseman . Howard contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the second inning to put Crowley up, 1-0.
"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Howard told the Crowley Chronicle.
