A 3-RBI performance from left fielder Keith Garner, the 24th overall pick in the 2042 draft, led the Twinsburg Tigers to a 7-4 win over the Quebec City Baby Blues. Billy Ramsey picked up the win with 6.1 innings of work. He allowed 4 earned runs on 4 hits, while walking 4 and striking out 6. On the season, he is now 2-0. Benjamin Crump picked up the save, his 2nd.
With Twinsburg leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Garner hit a fastball from Mike Perkins for a 2-run double. It was his 3rd double of the season and put the Tigers ahead, 3-0.
"I'm trying to keep it simple," said Garner. "Just do my job."
The win moves Twinsburg to a record of 5-5.
