Crowley got a strong outing from Ronnie Gómez as the Cajuns defeated the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish, 1-0, at Titans Ballpark. Iván Torres closed it out for his 2nd save. Crowley, now 3-2, has gotten their season off to a good start.

Gómez's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 5 strikeouts in 8 innings while allowing 1 hit. Gómez goes to 1-0 on the year with 5 strikeouts.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Gómez told the Crowley Chronicle.
