Fans who gathered at Ballpark of Wellsville saw a good contest between the Ladue Rams and Fort Knox Centennial.

Ladue pitcher Gudrat Tumanov did his part in helping his team beat the Fort Knox Centennial, 5-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Thad Parker earned his 24th save in 25 chances.

Ladue grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Esteban Costello delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 4-3 in favor of the Rams.

"I like our mindset right now," said Ladue manager Dave Parrish.

The 4th-place Rams have won 8 in a row.
