Victory Over Centennial Takes Long Island to 52-32
Fort Knox center fielder Luis Macazaga was sensational. He was 2 for 4 with 2 doubles, while adding 4 RBI, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Long Island beat the Centennial, 7-6. Macazaga was named the player of the game despite the loss. The Ducks improve their record to 52-32 with the win over Fort Knox.

Tom Kelley's at-bat in the bottom of the second was significant for the Ducks. Coming to the plate with the bases loaded and Long Island trailing 1-0, the catcher drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Kelley said.
