The Fort Knox Centennial overcame a good performance by Hudsonville right fielder Vonne Fajardo to knock off Hudsonville, 6-5, at Hudsonville Park. Fajardo was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. The winner was Chris Miller in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Scott Smith took the loss. With the win over Hudsonville, the Centennial improved to 47-31.

Fort Knox used the clutch hitting of Ángel Torrez to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to give the Centennial the lead, 5-4. For the game, Torrez had 2 singles and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Fort Knox manager Justin Saginov.
