|
Long Island rode a fine outing from starter Eric Corbin to victory over the Redwood Rhinos at The Zoo. The final score was 4-2. With the win, Long Island has a record of 49-23. Redwood falls to 28-44.
Long Island used the timely hitting of Ray Hill to capture the win. The left fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Ducks on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but he made it count.
