Extra-Inning Win by Rhinos over Warheads
The Redwood Rhinos picked up a win at The Zoo, knocking off the Amarillo Warheads, 2-1. Starting pitcher Felipe Hernández, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Gustavo Ruíz picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Bill Robinson was tagged with the loss. With the win, the Rhinos have a record of 25-37.

Redwood took a 2-1 lead on Ralph Ludwig's 59th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Ludwig hit in the bottom of the 12th, left Amarillo pitcher Bill Robinson visibly frustrated.

"Runs were at a premium," said Redwood manager Frank Bass.
