Becerra Delivers Clutch At-Bat for Long Island in Walk-Off Win
Long Island Ducks starter Eric Corbin was in fine form against the Ladue Rams at Ducks Park, leading his team to a 5-4 win. Reliever Jimmy McDonald picked up the win. His record improves to 2-1. Uhi Ahipene took the loss. The Ducks saw their win-loss record go to 40-21. At the same time, the Rams fell to 31-30.

Edgardo Becerra was the walk-off hero for Long Island. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Ducks catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Long Island manager Luis Ruíz.
