Centennial Walk It Off for 36th Win of Season
The inspired effort of Redwood second baseman Ralph Ludwig was not enough to prevent a 4-3 loss to the Fort Knox Centennial. Ludwig went 3 for 5 with 2 doubles and a walk. He scored 3 runs. Paul Kartodirdjo got credit for the win, improving to 3-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 0.1 innings. The Centennial sit in third place in the Premier R with a record of 36-23.

The game was at a stalemate until first baseman Chin-seok Chong came to bat in the bottom of the tenth. Facing Redwood pitcher David Kelly, he hit a full count sinker for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Fort Knox on top, 4-3.

After the game, Fort Knox manager Justin Saginov applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
