The Bethlehem Angel Kitties bested the Long Island Ducks by a score of 6-5, with center fielder Noburo Iwasaki getting the main credit. On the day, Iwasaki was 3-4 with a triple and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Angel Kitties. Bethlehem reliever Lodovico Tadini picked up the win, bumping his record to 3-2. Liu-liang Liu was collared with the loss. Bethlehem is now riding a 3-game win streak.
Robbie McClellan was the walk-off hero for Bethlehem. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Angel Kitties designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," McClellan said after the game.
