The Hicksville Hounds topped the Amarillo Warheads, 4-3, in USPL Rookie action at Ballpark of Henderson. The player of the game was Hicksville pitcher and Kapa'a, Hawaii native Chris Johnson. In 6 innings, Johnson surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 0. He allowed 3 runs. Ostoja Randjelovic earned the save for Hicksville, his 5th of the year.
Andrew Potter, who is tied for 9th in the PR in bases on balls with 21, helped out the Hicksville cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the third baseman went 2-4 with a double. He scored 2 runs.
