Fort Knox Centennial starter Victor Jones was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Amarillo Warheads, 6-2. Jones went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 10 hits, walked 0, and struck out 8. His record improves to 5-2. Amarillo, at 12-24, has lost 5 straight.
Zhang Cuan was a prime contributor to the Fort Knox win. He was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third with no one out, the 20-year old left fielder hit a run-scoring double. It made the score 2-0, in favor of the Centennial.
