Hounds Solve Rhinos, 5-2

The Hicksville Hounds beat the Redwood Rhinos, 5-2, at Hound Pound. The win was largely due to the efforts of second baseman Ming-an Yin, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Xin-fang Zha finished to wrap up his 3rd save. The Hounds saw their record improve to 15-16.
Yin came through with some timely hitting for Hicksville. With the score 1-1 in the bottom of the third and two down, Yin hit a 2-1 splitter for a grand slam home run. His 4th home run of the season made it 5-1, Hicksville.
"I felt good up there," said Yin. "I saw the ball well."
