Otters Trip Warheads in Extras
|
The Tulsa Otters picked up a win at Ballpark of Henderson, knocking off the Amarillo Warheads, 7-6. Starting pitcher Jeff McFarland, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The win was Craig Brooks's in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Álex Alagna took the loss for Amarillo. The second-place Otters raised their record to 15-10.
Tulsa used a timely hit from Robert Robinson to get the win. The pinch hitter delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the tenth inning to put the Otters on top, 7-6. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Robinson.
