Reynaldo Parriego was instrumental in his team's 4-3 triumph over the Bethlehem Angel Kitties. The right fielder went 4-5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Fort Knox Centennial. The third-place Centennial now have a 6-game winning streak.
Fort Knox used the clutch hitting of Rick McCarthy to capture the win. The second baseman drilled a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Centennial ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said McCarthy.
