Getting an impressive start from Rubén Sánchez, Redwood beat Tulsa by the score of 2-1. John Tripcony, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 3rd save. The loss drops Tulsa to 9-8.
Redwood used the timely hitting of Maurice Hinkle to capture the win. The shortstop socked a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Rhinos ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was an important one.
"We're just going to try to build off this win," said Hinkle.
