Hot Start Continues for Rocketeers
|
Seattle starter Tim Tate kept the Kingston Township offense in check, while his team rolled to a 11-2 win. Tate, the winner, moves to 2-0. He threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 9 and giving up 2 walks. The Rocketeers keep rolling, raising their record to 14-6.
Mathew Mayo put Seattle in front, 3-0, when he hit a 2-run home run off Chase Sims in the top of the first. It was his 7th home run of the season.
"I like the roll we're on," said Seattle manager Mau Delgado.
