Dirty Reds Cut Down Voodoo, 6-2
|
San Mateo Dirty Reds starter Ratko Davidovic turned in a top-notch performance against the New Orleans Voodoo at Lang Park. The result was a win for the Dirty Reds, 6-2. Davidovic picked up the win for San Mateo, going 6.2 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 3-1. Urs Ehles got credit for the save for San Mateo. It was his 4th of the year.
In the bottom of the second, Kalino Iolana hit a run-scoring single for San Mateo. The 13th hit of the season for the San Mateo center fielder put the Dirty Reds on top, 1-0.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Iolana told the San Mateo Observer.
The win pushes San Mateo to a record of 9-10.
