Victory Pushes Seahawks Record to 36-27
|
The Myrtle Beach Seahawks defeated the Delmarva Gallos, 2-0, at Seahwaks Stadium today. Leading the charge for Myrtle Beach was shortstop Darren Gordam. He was 2-3 with 2 singles. Myrtle Beach reliever Ricardo Rodríguez picked up the win, upping his record to 5-2. Ryan Harris absorbed the loss. The Seahawks saw their record improve to 36-27.
With Myrtle Beach leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Gordam hit a changeup from Ryan Harris for a run-scoring single. It was his 53rd hit of the season and put the Seahawks ahead, 2-0.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Gordam told the Myrtle Beach Daily.
