Delmarva beat Myrtle Beach at The Cage, escaping with a 6-5 win. The win in large part was due to designated hitter Walt Reed, who earned player of the game honors. He went 2-5 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Delmarva reliever Phil Alldred picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Phil Lewis shouldered the loss. The Gallos, at 19-29, sit in 8th place in the Premier A.

Donald White had the critical at-bat for Delmarva. With one out in the bottom of the 14th inning, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It gave Delmarva the 6-5 walk-off win.

"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said Delmarva field general Tony Garza.
