Vandals Come Back Late to Top Reapers
Grim pitcher Richard Dougherty gave the Vandals all they could handle, but in the end, Eugene left The Riot Zone with a 3-2 win. Dougherty allowed 1 earned run on 7 hits over 6 innings. At 14-23, Eugene is in 8th place in the Premier A.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Eugene center fielder Roy MacDonald, facing Domingo Galló, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Vandals the 3-2 win.
