The Levittown Blue Dragons picked up a win at The Cave at Levittown, knocking off the Eugene Vandals, 5-3. Starting pitcher Byron McCormick, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Yu-eh Wang earned the save, his 11th. The second-place Blue Dragons have won 5 straight games.

The Blue Dragons grabbed the lead in the bottom of the fifth. With two out, Ernesto Valenzuela hit a 3-run home run off Noah Olinger, putting Levittown in front, 5-3. For Valenzuela, it was his 2nd home run of the season.

"Byron was pounding the zone," said Levittown manager Félix Cruz.
