The Lake Erie Arryns defeated the Eugene Vandals, 7-6, at Arryns Ballpark today. Leading the charge for Lake Erie was designated hitter Kaseeb bin Yunus. He went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times. The Arryns now own a record of 11-13.

In the bottom of the 7th, catcher Valerio Salinas gave Lake Erie the lead when he hit a 2-run single. The Arryns had been trailing 6-5, but the two-out single off Eugene pitcher Tim Buck changed that -- and Lake Erie went on to win.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Arryns manager Miguel Saldaña. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
