Gallos Topple Reapers with Late Rally
Fans who gathered at The Coffin saw a good contest between the Delmarva Gallos and Grim Reapers.

The Grim Reapers got a superb performance from pitcher Iban Wilson. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Delmarva. The Gallos won the game, 6-4. In spite of the loss, Wilson was named the player of the game. He threw 7 innings of 6-hit ball. Ray Smiley picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Shusui Suzuki was tagged with the loss.

Delmarva used the clutch hitting of Walt Reed to capture the win. The right fielder drilled a grand slam home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Gallos ahead, 6-4. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Reed said after the game.

The Gallos, with just their 4th win so far in 2043, have yet to catch fire.
