Arryns Fall Short, 3-2, at Levittown

The Lake Erie Arryns got a sterling performance from pitcher Tyler Budge, but the Blue Dragons still prevailed, 3-2. Budge was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 8 innings allowing 3 runs. The Blue Dragons, now 10-4, have been on fire in the early going.
Levittown took a 3-2 lead on Daniel Washington's 4th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Washington hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Lake Erie pitcher Tyler Budge visibly frustrated.
Afterward, Blue Dragons manager Félix Cruz was ebullient. "That was a fun game to coach," he told a group of reporters, adding, "I hope it was just as fun to watch."
