Crawdads Bang Out 7-1 Win Versus Smoky Mountain
|
It was a fun time at Crawdads Field, where the Smoky Mountain Hobeaus and Cut Off Crawdads tangled.
The Cut Off Crawdads got a strong performance from pitcher Kelly Knowles, who stymied the Smoky Mountain offense en route to a 7-1 win at Crawdads Field. In 5.1 innings, Knowles surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 4. He allowed 1 run. Steve Parker got the save, his 1st in 1 chances.
In the bottom of the first, Cut Off shortstop Pedro Ramos had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Ramos stroked a bases-clearing double to right. It made the score 4-0, Cut Off. For the game, he was 2-4 with a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Ramos told the Cut Off Today.
