Crawdads Topple Torch with Late Rally
The Cut Off Crawdads faced a tough opponent in Mancelona pitcher Adam Wright, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Torch Field by a final score of 8-6. Wright went 7.1 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Carlos Rosado nailed down his 6th save. Cut Off occupies 6th place in the Silver A at 44-45.

Cut Off used the timely hitting of Ronald Caldwell to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Crawdads on top, 7-6. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Caldwell said.
