Burkholder Now 2-1 After Subduing Bullets
The Long Island Lighthouse got a magnificent performance from pitcher Shem Burkholder, who stifled the Baltimore offense en route to a 3-1 Lighthouse win at Baltimore Grounds. The Lighthouse raised their record to 8-4.

Baltimore could barely put a dent in Burkholder. The right-hander tossed 85 pitches over 7 innings for the Lighthouse, allowing only 3 hits.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Burkholder.
