The Laredo Hawks defeated the Kent Comets, 4-2, at Fuller Park. George McLean was named player of the game for Laredo. His 3 hits included 2 singles and 1 double, in addition to the 1 run he scored and 1 he knocked in. William Gordon, credited with the win, is now 4-3. He allowed 1 run on 6 hits in 5 innings.
