Mancelona starter Al Maxwell pitched effectively against the Washington Generals at Washington Park. The right-hander led his team to a 5-3 win. Maxwell picked up the win for Mancelona, going 7.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 5-2.
