Victory Over Jets Takes Huntington to 40-24
|
Huntington Hermit Crabs starter Steve Baker was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Kennesaw Jets, 4-2. Rémy Moreau recorded the save for Huntington, his 12th of the season. The Hermit Crabs bumped their record to 40-24 with this latest triumph.
Eduardo Lucciardi, the Huntington catcher, contributed a run-scoring double in the bottom of the fifth inning to make the score 3-2, Hermit Crabs. For the game, Lucciardi went 1-4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs.
"This is a very good team," said Baker. "We have the chance to do something special."
