Tight Tilt Goes to Hawks, 3-2

Hawks Field was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Laredo Hawks and the Mancelona Torch.
The Laredo Hawks got a stellar effort from pitcher Tadamichi Chikafuji, helping Laredo score a 3-2 win over the visiting Mancelona Torch. The 5th-place Hawks have won 4 consecutive games.
In the bottom of the fourth, with Laredo leading 2-0, center fielder Luc Leroux hit a run-scoring single. The hit came off Jorge Ortega and put the Hawks ahead, 3-0.
"Everyone's trying too hard," said losing manager Ezequiel Chosson. "If we learn to relax, we'll be fine."
