Victory Pushes Bulls Record to 30-28
|
Belleville pitcher Miguel González did his part in helping his team beat the Mancelona Torch, 7-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. González got the win, improving to 3-4. He allowed 6 hits and walked 1 over 7 innings. González allowed 2 earned runs. The third-place Bulls have won 4 in a row.
Belleville used a timely hit from Kenny Dixon to get the win. The shortstop delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the fourth inning to put the Bulls on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"There's a lot of fight left in this team," said González.
