The Buckhead Bowties got a superb performance from pitcher Paul Haines. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Kingston Township. The Knights won the game, 3-2. In spite of the loss, Haines was named the player of the game. He threw 8 innings of 4-hit ball. Stu Searle closed it out for his 2nd save. The Knights, with just their 2nd win so far in 2043, have yet to catch fire.

Making an impact for the home team was Jorge Ozezera. In the bottom of the sixth, the 29-year old first baseman had a run-scoring walk. That made the score 3-1, Knights.

"I felt we were ready to go," said Kingston Township manager Rayzor Ray. "Our pregame was pretty good."
