Hermit Crabs Get Road Win, 1-0
|
The Hermit Crabs had to overcome a good performance from Washington pitcher Richard Nudelman to claim a 1-0 win at Washington Park. Nudelman went 7 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Huntington reliever Juan Ramírez picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Richard Nudelman was saddled with the loss. Rémy Moreau finished the game for Huntington and earned his 4th save.
The Hermit Crabs got a big at-bat from catcher Eduardo Lucciardi. For the game, Lucciardi went 1-4 with a home run. In the top of the fourth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Huntington a 1-0 lead.
"I like our moxie," said Hermit Crabs manager Rafael Herrera.
Huntington has now won 5 games in a row.
